Really OP? "Ripped off, scathing attack on TSB?"

TSb offer 3% on money in the account , hardly ripping you off, also offering now expired 5% on contactless. hardly one of the worst banks, near the top IMO for offers.

I would suggest HSBC advance if you earn over 1750 but if you think TSB are bad stay well away from their £150 join offer in that case..

A lot of banks charge for current accounts, they will have sent you notice if they changed your account to a charging one.

Banks aren't there to reward you, so you're not getting fed up for not being rewarded, you're just annoyed you're missing out
because you are lazy. You don't need to travel unless there is something you need to do over the counter.

Pull your finger out and switch accounts every six months if you want the 'reward'.

I sense some hostility and I don't know why but I won't rise to the occasion. someone will help another tsb customer of ten years with no kind of reward when new customers get 200 quid?

Money saving Expert. Google it. Then switch your money to get the rewards. If your dyslexia stops you reading the small print, or searching online for yourself, how is it you can read the numerous replies you'll get on here? Five minutes on google and you'd have an answer. Whereas here you're going to have to wait and sift through all the replies.

Also, you weren't ripped off Illegally. No one committed a crime. It was unlawful but not illegal. I don't really understand your gripe with the bank. Is it that new customers get a reward for switching and you feel you're missing out?!

Tsb used to be good. But are closing branches, not giving cashback on contact less, reduced savings account, as well as reduced reward for money in the bank. I could live with all that (even though this has all happened in the last 6 months) but when they basically double booked my last appointment and the branch didn't apologise then that's enough for me. Loyalty does not pay any more. Online they are good and telephone banking is again not as good as it once was slower to answer the phone.

They have cut to much to quickly.

Plenty of other banks out there.
