Never heard of this before, how many times do you need to do this before amazon will ban you?
#5
Didn't know they did that!
#6
User does not have private messaging enabled. So I cant pm you.. pm me and ill tell you how to get kinda unbanned lol
#7
Definitely logs your IP address. As for street address I don't know. Use a free proxy to hide your IP and try using wife's details.

It was on Watchdog too, seems they only act if they are shamed on TV.

It will be on your name and home address not IP address (you can order from any internet device after all). If your wife hasn't had an account then try and open one in her name. I'm sure you would have been warned about the number of returns before they closed your account. I think the threshold is about 10% returned before it's flagged at amazon.

Didn't know they did that!

It was on watchdog and in the papers a few months ago. This is why I only buy things I know I will keep and only return as a last resort. The ban is on the address and even new owners of the property will be banned for life.

You can still order via Flubit though and they source a lot of items direct from Amazon.

Hello,

We cancelled order 64765765765767 because it exceeds the quantity limit for that item. Quantity limits are displayed during the ordering process.

We limit the number of orders customers can place for certain promotional or popular items. Customers are not allowed to use multiple accounts to bypass these limits.

To learn more about quantity limits, search for “About the Shopping Cart” on the Amazon.co.uk Help page.

To help us understand why your order exceeds the quantity limit, please reply to this email with the following information:

-- Reasons why you ordered more products than are allowed
-- Feedback to help us improve our service

We look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Unless you are using a static ip address just restart your router and you'll get a new one.

#19
I got a warning after returning some high value items, well wasn't worded as a warning but asking if there was a problem and if they could help, which I think is what they ask first
#20
from the sounds of the articles you should be able to contact amazon and explain why you had to return all the things.
#21
how do you send returns to third part seller???
I sent a USB change cable by 2nd class postage in a bubble envelope. the seller claims he hasn't received it, I think his trying to get away with it

I've returned a couple of things this year and had two items lost in the post on there way too me with their rubbish couriers.....worrying

I've got about 5 live accounts on Amazon. Out of interest yesterday they decided to reset the one account I still use. I changed the email address from one I no longer have access to and they changed it back. Meaning I can't request a new password because I won't get the code they send. I don't have a phone number on the account either. Talked to support and they want the last 4 numbers of the card I have registered on the account. I don't have that card anymore either.

Luckily the order I was having issues with is now on the way so perhaps I won't need to use them anymore.

Why on earth did you return items so frequently?

So just to clarify, you get sent an email that warns you about the number of returns on your account before you get banned? What kind of a message is it or is it a cryptic message from Amazon?
#36
Wow, didn't know about this, buy a lot from amazon and return a lot to them too but have never heard of this or got a message from them, will make sure I don't "abuse" their return policy then ;)

I got threatened last year with a ' removal of your Amazon.co.uk buying privileges'

I had:

1 item that was 'lost in transit' - The driver turned up, looked in the back of van and then drove off. I have CCTV ;)
1 return due to Amazon online chat ordered me the wrong item for above (lost in transit).
1 return on trainers that were wrong size.

This is the email I got

Hello,

Your Account details have been forwarded to me for a review of your order activity. A careful review of your account reflects that you've ordered with us a number of times, but that many of these orders have encountered delivery or return issues.

We understand that items may occasionally be lost or damaged in transit and in these instances a refund or replacement may be issued. If there is a problem delivering post to a specific address, you may wish to specify an alternative.

We have noticed that the volume of refunds requested on your account is unusually high. When this type of activity comes to our attention, it is evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We value your custom and want to work with you to resolve any issues you might be experiencing with our service, so that we can ensure future orders arrive without incident.

In most cases like this, we can identify the problems and improve the situation for the customer. We remind you that according to our terms and conditions of use, inappropriate use of your account could lead to its closure.

Failure to comply with our policies may result in the removal of your Amazon.co.uk buying privileges.

If you received this message in error or would like to clarify the order activity, please contact us directly at cis@amazon.co.uk.

Thank you for your attention to this email.

wait aren't you the guy that makes up stuff about amazon qualified by 'i always used paypal'
which they dont take?

edit yep:
"PulisOut
Ha ha ! I would but Amazon very kindly reset my login to an old email address & password. They won't fix it unless I can give them the last 4 numbers of a card registered on my account but I've never used a card. always use paypal. Never going to use them again."
