I downloaded the battlefield 1 demo a couple of months ago but never really played it. When I turned in my Xbox today showed as a new download and looks like the full playable game but I never purchased it, doesn't show in purchase history. Anyone else? or am I missing something?

I would have thought it will still be the demo. Only way to know is to play.

the new update?

Do you have ea access? That gives you 10 hours trial of the full game..could be that.

had ea access, ran out start of December. thought the demo was multi player but I can play solo on levels. first level on, I think, 5 different campaigns. the rest have padlocks on icons, assume they unlock as you progress but never seen the full game in action.

just done pilot's training and playing first mission. ea Access definitely expired. didn't download the game, looks like it was pushed yesterday.

Mystery solved.
my son signed into my Xbox one when i first got it on release day. He got a new one on Christmas day with free downloads. My Xbox was set as his home console, even though I had deleted his profile. Just goes to show, if you sell your Xbox one and it's set as your home console the new buyer can access all your game downloads.

yeah you have to "unset" it as home xbox. i factory restored mine and gave it to my sister and its still set as my home xbox. only issue is i did the same to another and traded it into cex :( i assumed factory resetting would remove the home xbox home bit especially as i told it to remove all data etc as well. basically some lucky person will get loads of games unless cex unset it, which i doubt :( confirmed here also https://www.avforums.com/threads/xbox-one-question-concerning-a-factory-reset-and-keeping-digital-games.1906073/
