I found this king size bed with luxurious pocket springs, which looks quite nice and costs £220 plus a fiver for delivery but there's ways to get free delivery but I don't know how long delivery would take with them.

http://direct.tesco.com/pi/Product/0/SS09205-5270TPS418022.jpg

The double bed version is also available for £195.25:

I know there was previously an option to choose a day for it to be delivered on a specific date but I think that's for courier deliveries only.

I'll keep looking for ya and if you order from Tesco, you'll obviously get clubcard points and cashback from Quidco too :)

I found this sofa (6 different colour combinations available at no extra cost), no deposit or interest on 4 years payment at £8.31 per month (£399 in total)

There's cheaper stuff available at Argos though.

Fh will have another look tomorrow for you.im sure you can find cheaper.

There's this as well from Tesco, which is £380 for the pair as part of their BOGOF promo but I dunno if this is your style but was the cheapest thing available in the promo.
There's also a few different colours available too. :)

Will keep looking for ya. :)

Do you have the links for these RFM, if delivery is quick that would be ideal

I quite like that but not sure how it would fair in that colour with two young kids - delivery is the issue for me and I think they are quite long at DFS

Oh sorry FH, I forgot to include the links but here's the one for the double bed:

http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.205-2541.aspx

Here's the one for the kingsize:

http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.205-5270.aspx

They sound very comfy and they're both half price in the sale and obviously there's clubcard points and 3% cashback via Topcashback too.

Hope that helps and let me know if I can help any further. :-D

Hmm, what colour are you thinking of....I weren't sure if you'd like the design?
It was funny to hear you call something "long"....that's my saying lol.

No worries, I didn't particularly like the second option but thought it was cheap and cheerful but these are just suggestions, so if you give me some opinions, it'll make it easier to help. :)

No worries babes......I was quite surprised that Tesco had it available at that price considering most places sell the frame without a mattress at that price.
The place you told me about earlier with the cheap bed was fantastic value but I don't know if you noticed the double bed didn't include the mattress but don't stress because the kids beds was all inclusive of everything. :)

No worries, I'll look for something brown for ya as well then and it might be better when the kids leave stains and try to hide it from you but I thought you said you wanted creamy colour so no one notices other stains. :giggle:

I'll let you get away with stealing my lyrics but only cos you cracked me up with your dongle joke earlier. :giggle: lol

BTW, I checked Ebay and couldn't see anything that I thought you'd like either but keep a look out. :)

I have found beds for the kids with next day delivery, just need to look into delivery times for the double from Tesco

If all else fails I can get some bean bags until a sofa arrives - no doubt it will be a big adventure for the kids

Thank you for all your help Lou you are a star x

Make sure to invite us for the house warming then...it would be nice to have a mini HUKD meet up in there. :giggle:

The sofa you showed me earlier looked nice, maybe you could get hold of one on local Ebay or freecycle for the timebeing as well.

Good luck with everything and please let me know if I can help you anymore....I wish I could do more from over here...but that'll teach you for being so far away. :giggle:

Awww, no worries babes, you're my best friend in the world and my life would be completely different without you, so you don't need to show your appreciation to me.......just be happy..... and that's all I ask for. :-D

P.S It's your fault you're so far away.....I'm in the capital.....where it's all happening. :giggle:
#37
God almighty, you make me feel bad that I am not grateful enough and then make me feel bad for showing my appreciation  I am very happy though, my life is finally going in the right direction

Is the capital where its all happening though? ;-)

:giggle:

I like sending mixed signals and causing confusion. lol

Jokes aside though, I couldn't get a bigger smile if I tried knowing that you're happy and the way things are going.......if anyone deserves happiness, it's definitely you. :)

The capital is more fun and I'm pretty sure you know that but I know what you're like, so the happening place is wherever you're residing. :giggle:

i would def try freecycle neighbouring areas before you give up..its great for household stuff too-pots and pans etc-as the things you need really add up...as long as you got your heating on and a chippy local you'll be alright;-)
