I'm looking for a semi decent 2gb ram phone for a relative. There's plenty of very cheap 1gb ram phones, but are there any good 2gb ram phones? The cheaper the better (ideally around the £50 mark). Also, I think the "grey market" import may be a hard sell, so UK stock and seller would be best. Also...... Can I have the Sun as well! Cheers for any help.

Do you want to buy one sim free?
If not mobile phones direct are doing a decent deal on Moto G4 contract at £10 a month for 500 mins, 5000 texts and 1gb of data on talk mobile.

What's the significance of the 2gb? A cheap 2gb phone probably performs the same or worse than a decent 1gb phone.

I dont think you will find anything decent with 2GB ram for £50 ish, if you do it would get voted super hot if posted

Thanks for all the responses, I did think it was a tall ask. My concern is that even my old xperia arc had 1gb ram and 8gb storage, and that struggled with new updates (granted with an old processor) and the same with the original nexus 7. So just wanted to see if any future proofing was possible, this isn't going to be an update every couple of years to the newest phone. Thanks for the advice and will check out Samsung J just in case.

LG G2 would get my vote, although prob just over your budget. Only recently passed mine down to my son after 3 years of abuse, works great after a full reset, wish I'd kept it!

Hmm no it doesn't. On 1GB now. If I load another application my browser will most likely close. Not great. I can adjust minfree values but then it'll lag like crazy.
