Each of these will give you better overall quality than the LG for similar money.

i purchased the Lg a few weeks back and really pleased with it overall tbh. Great picture once warmed up and played with the settings,plenty of connections,its stylish too. dont purchase if you plan on using the freeview tho as the picture is poor from that. But i have sky so not a problem

Thank you both very much for your help, I ended up getting one of the toshiba 37" lcds from sainsburys for £391 which i am very happy with, for the price think i did ok
