I've been with marbles for years, since they started. They have been brill I got the platinum card and I spend about 1-3k a month. They have now been sold from hsbc and bought by some unknown firm. The service in the past has always been spot on regarding problems with retailers, lost goods and chargebacks. Its now got its call center abroad and half the time its murder to log into your account etc. Are there any other good card out there that operate on a 4-5 week cycle for billing and more importantly will issue chargebacks with no fuss and give good protect for online buying. Many thanks gang :-)

As someone who holds a lot of credit cards, I can tell you about the ones I have. All credit cards pretty much operate on a monthly basis so your credit card is due at the same time every month (4.5 weeks)

American Express - call centre is in Brighton but out of hours is India. Moneyback offer on at the moment, normally 0.5%-1% but recent promotions have had this at 5%. No problems with chargebacks or firms on the net. Had for about 5 years now.

Goldfish - call centre is in Glasgow, Rewards programme is for gift vouchers and about 0.6%. They monitor unusual spending patterns by ringing you. Chargebacks are pretty good. Had for 8 years.

Mint - call centre is in England but this is occasionally India. 0.5% cashback. Monitor unusal spending patterns by blocking or calling you. Had for about 5 years.

Morgan Stanley - call centre is around the world. Cashback is 1% for the first £2000 and 0,5% thereafter. Generally monitor online purchases but occasionally been over zealous but that is a good thing if you are worried about buying online. Had for 3 years.

Nationwide - call centre is England. Good for 0% commission on foreign transactions. Had for 1 year.

Capital One - call centre, I am not sure. 4% cashback on promotion, 1% thereafter. Had for 1 month.

Any use to you? This tells you more than any site will tell you.

By the way, Mint, Morgan Stanley and American Express have the easiest log in but it could also be the easiest to crack.

Nationwide and Goldfish are slightly more complicated but that makes them more secure.

Bloody brilliant thanks for that. Thanks for that I got the Nationwide for 0% commission on foreign transactions too. Had for 1 year also but I find their customer service dire and its a pain paying off your balance online. Will be looking at the others, American Express sounds like a good one :-) Thanks again :-)
