Virgin Media looking to use Tivo Boxes for TV in the near future, if VM BB appeals to you

Virgin is the best IMO, but if you have dialup it all depends how far you are from the exchange. I live around a 1min from the telephone exchange and get 15mb/s average download speeds but at my home address get only 3.5mb/s. o2 are good I think with 3 months free.

Bee there are the best ISP around IMO. Massive speeds and no download limits (if active in your area).

Im with Plusnet as miles from the exchange, best ISP in this case and unlimited DL midight till 8am

please avoid them at all costs if u want to keep your sanity. i will be leaving them in feb the minute my contract runs out thank God

BE and O2 are sister companies, so if you sign up for O2 you will be using the same infrastructure as BE does. I have O2 currently, I am not sure what the current deals are like, but I would go for either BE or O2 whichever works out cheeper, because they are the best, best customer service and free technical support-24/7.

In your opinion, I have talk talk at 2 addresses and know at least 6 others with them and find them great with no problems at all, been with them for 6 years and sync at 21 meg.

i guess things have always gone smoothly for you then.....lets hope you never have to report a fault on your line or slow speeds eh......

Orange are meant to be pretty bad as well, might want to avoid them.

I have, and had no problems really, use their forums instead now and normally sorted within 48 hours, but found the phone ok aswell, if not a little slow, no worse than any other company. Virgin media however, eugh useless.

honestly, you are the first person who I have seen talking good about talk talk, cant really believe. Very recently, a friend of mine signed up with them and it took them literally two and a half months to sort out the delivery/re-delivery cycle of his router. In my opinion, if things work out fine with them first time, they are good. But, if anything gets wrong slightly, it will be an endless viscious cycle with their call centres and premium support numbers.
