I'm after a 10" tablet and even though it's new years day I'm struggling to find one.

The Linx 10 was on in Argos before the new year for £170 odd with some vouchers thrown in too - not sure if that offer is still on otherwise I would have just gone for that.

Anyways anyone know where to get this tablet for the cheapest bearing in mind I want to trade in a tablet.

Thanks,

Zak

Lol Ceres, oh please please tell me how to Google Insight. Just so you know it wasn't very helpful. 'How I intend to use the tablet' - do you work got one of the departments of the RSPCA - the department that deals with mistreat of electronics? Lol oh banter.

Hi, can anyone help me with some advice. I've had to jump in this thread because I can't post a question on my android tablet for some strange reason.

I bought a linx 10 from staples at Xmas and it was fine, a bit glitchy at times but worked OK. I had 3gb of missing space from the c drive after I uninstalled my anti virus and c cleaner and other stuff and the screen wouldn't always respond so i decided to do a factory reset to see if it would solve some problems I was having.

Anyway it worked great and returned the missing space. But when I turned it on this morning, I signed in as normal and a minute later the screen was just a faded but changing colour with a black line down the middle. I held the power button down for about 8 seconds and it turned off and then I turned it back on. The red light comes on and then its just the faded changing colours with a black line again.

Has resetting it broke it? Also who do I contact, staples or exertis?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hi, thanks I'll give them a ring. Could the factory reset have done this to the screen though?

Maybe a graphics driver issue, If it's got hdmi out you could try hooking it up to a tv, If it displays ok then your screen is faulty, If not then it'll be graphics chip issue or driver issue. It could be other things though.
