Yes DX is the best place for the battery.

You can get an 8GB Pro Duo for £20.99
or (My preference) get a Micro SD > Pro Duo Adaptor with a 8GB Micro Sd for about £14

You also need a magic memory stick, just in case you weren't aware.

Thanks for the heads up on the card.

Is a Pro Duo adaptor with two SD cards as reliable?

And I thought the Magic Memory Stick was the card I put the firmware/games onto?

Can I use the standard PSP card for this?

I personally haven't found the dual adaptors as reliable.

The MMS is a memory card with the correct files that is used in conjunction with the Pandora battery to put custom firmware on the PSP.
You can use the same memory card to put your media on, and then put it in your PSP, but the most important thing is to have the files for the conversion.

Cool.

What firmware are you running?

There seems to be a few about.

You don't need the pandora battery unless you are planning on bricking your PSP during the update process.
Anyway you can convert your regular battery to a pandora one later, if needed.
Just download the neccessary files to psp and update via the games icons on xmb.
After you can do network update for later version of FW. Currently, this is 5.01 I believe.

Untrue.

You do need a pandora battery if your planning on going with custom firmware such as 5.00 m33, like the guy wants.

only official fimware works like above.
