Best deal on a Dishwasher?

Hi All,
My dishwasher is not behaving well, think it's time for a new one... Are there any good deals on a good quality model around? Don't want top of the line, but do want reputable manufacturer, good energy efficiency and needs to be able to take a large load (the larger the better really).

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Our dishwasher has just broken , all of 4 years old. It was a steel front SMEG. The repair man didn't know what was wrong but said investigating and fixing would be over £200.

I decided this time, screw the hottest deal. I bought the John Lewis £399 steel front machine, with a 5 year guarantee. I have the Capital one 4% card and went through Quidco for another 8%.

Sure you will find cheaper stainless steel models but the JL guarantee sold me.
Hi Spielo. Don't know if you're still looking but I've been researching diswashers prior to buying one. The best deal I've found is for a BOSCH SGS46E22. If you buy from Dixons and use the codes 'DISC10' and 'FREEDEL07' you can get it delivered for £254.65 - next cheapest I've found is £288 and in most places its over £300.

The model down from this - SGS46E02 - was tested by Which and although it wasn't listed as a Best Buy it scored a very reasonable 69% with above average reliability. Water and electricity consumption were good as was noise output.

When you consider the Which Best Buys score 70% or more, this is right on the edge. In addition, the Best Buys range in price from £3400-£720 so this would appear to be real good value.

Hope this helps
