I hunted everywhere for travel systems - Do you have any idea what your after? Just the pushchair & carseat, or Do you want carrycot, in car base for the seat, matching change bag? Also what kind of budget? Do you do lots of walking? Use buses or just in and out of the car and round the shops?

I finally settled on this one by Graco for £230 -

http://www.toysrus.co.uk/Product.aspx/bruhome/brutravel/brutravelgraco/725773

It folds one handed really easily and is fairly flat for in the boot of the car, has a drop down shopping basket that you can get into even when baby is lying flat.
It didn't come with a bag or raincover but both of which I bought on ebay for around £10 each. If you are interested I can PM you the ebay shop for the raincover which is unbranded but exactly the same as what toys r us are charging £30 for.

If you do go for a travel system I would definatley stick with one that can be bought online & delivered the box this one came in was massive!!

Good Luck searching. I still have all the links from my search (I only bought 10 days ago) saved so if you need any more help just PM and I can send them.

I didn't have a clue what to get when I was pregnant either. I finally got a mamas and papas travel system with car seat and travel cot for £250. I can't really advise you what to get as it comes down to personal choice, however check what's included as my first choice didn't have the nappy bag or a rain cover and to get matching would have cost me about £40 extra.
Good luck :)

it's def gotta have the car seat for sure . maximum spend would be £300 but i want it to have accessories like raincover and that . Not after graco make as had one 6 yrs ago and did not like it as wheel kept falling off lol . Like the bugaboo ones but way too expensive for what ya get but would like something stylish and maybe a bit girly seeing as im expectin a girl lol

Hi,

I dont know of any codes but I do know of a couple of websites that do tend to be cheap.
www.kiddicare.com or www.twoleftfeet.com.
I think you may also get quidco with kiddicare.

Enjoy hunting, good luck with the baby!

dont bother with a travel system, they are bulky, and never get used. buy a decent pram that tilts whilst they are a baby, and is a pushchair until they are 4 yrs old. Maclaren do a great range, then buy a baby car seat separate. Anything else and its just wasting your money

I agree with what has been said here. I bought a lightweight Graco travel system with my first and i even found that very heavy and bulky, as a result i only used it for the first 3 months and ended up buying a Maclaren.

My son has just turned 3 and has been using it until recently and i would still class it as in excellent condition.
Dont waste money on something that might only be used for a few months when you can buy one that will last throughout the early years.
