I paid £58 for a 2tb off eBay, usual price was about £62 at the time. Not brand new, but has worked fine since. If you get a portable 2tb, I'm sure you could remove the HDD from the enclosure, read reviews before you purchase to be sure that it can be done. Amazon is the best place for it.

You need This

Probably the most popular choice to upgrade your ps4. It's cheaper to buy this and simply carefully open up the case, and inside you'll find the Samsung M9T which fits perfectly inside the PS4. Plenty of videos with step by step instructions on YouTube.

In case the link is not working, search for the Seagate Expansion 1TB or 2TB PORTABLE drive.
