I've always gone for the Sennheiser CX series since Play had them cheap almost all the time, but I was wondering if there's any other models people really like and I should perhaps check out. I had a pair of CX300's to start with which lasted a few years and I got a new pair which I lost, and have tried the CX500's which are top too, so have no problems sticking to the Sennheiser trend!

But I'm sure there's other ones out there that are as good perhaps, anyone have some SoungMagic's? or Denon (might be out of my range).
Wanted to get the CX400's from play but they havent been on sale for a while, might end up getting the 300's that are £17.99 atm.
TIA!

Keep an eye at for the Ultimate Ears SuperFi 5 on Play, got them for £30 last week and easily best in-ears I've used for that money. £40 now but will probably come down again...

Here.

Check the reviews out(everysite ive been to boasts of how good they are) apparently they are the best earphones for sub £50.

these badboys, they shut off a lot of sound even before you turn anything on. Maybe its just my weird ears but they do the trick nicely :)

Thanks I'll have a look out, if they go down to £30 again, £40 is too much for me! But on my shortlist!

These are looking really good, I quite like the style too not like anything else, and reviews seem pretty good. Will look into it more and possibly get them.

They look nice too, I like Sony as well and would be going to use in my Walkman A series too. Tempted but willing to give the SoundMagics a shot if I can find them in stock!

Sound isolation is one of my top preferences, I found the 300's did the job very well so it's going to be a hard choice between these 3!

Thanks for all the suggestions so far, more are welcome!

Ive got a 2gb NWZ-A815 and it works great with it, and I can have the volume up at maybe 18 or 20 (out of 30) on the walkman and it will shut off pretty much 95% of any outside sound plus you dont get the sound escaping so everyone on the bus/train etc cant hear what you're listening to!

the SoundMAGIC Professional PL50 are £39.99 at amazon and I think they made it into Stuff mags top 10

NB The ultimate ears get pretty hot reviews at their £120 RRP, so value wise if you can get them for £30 you're onto a winner....

Yep and I will definately keep it on the lookout, I think if it falls to that kind of price again I might snap it up WITH a pair of the pl30's (using one as backup depending on preference)

It's hard to leave the Sony's out of it, but I may look at them if the ultimate's dont go down and I dont really like the pl30's that much!, but I'm more than willing to give the PL30's a shot, considering its only £13.95 at MP4nation with free worldwide del :| . Or £18 with the E3 thing not sure If I would need it though.

not really too sure about MP4nation and deliveries so might wait for PriceThriller to get back in stock.
