My son is 13 and has asked for a new mobile for Christmas. Want to spend a maximum of £200 but frighteningly this doesn't seem very much in the world of mobile phones! Just wondering if anyone could give me some ideas? Thanks!

I'd recommend looking at oneplus phones. quite cheap and last long. second hand oneplus ones are going for really cheap and they're like new!

Guess it depends what he has got already, and what he mainly wants it for. Some decent phones out there. If he has a phone that doesn't have the cred of his fiends phones, then you could be fighting a losing battle. Splash out and get him the iPhone 7 , you know it's what he wants :)

smart ultra 6/7 would be suitable too, £100-£135 then maybe a few quid for unlocking if required
