Best Online Movie Rental Company

I have recently got a PS3 to go with my Samsung HDTV and I want to try out some Blu-rays. Rather than buy them each time (as I have a bad habit of watching a movie once then slinging it in the cupboard) it might be more cost effective to join a online rental site.

I have previously been with Lovefilm (and ScreenSelect before it became Lovefilm). I was with Lovefilm for about six months just using free trials but they seem to have cottoned on to that and I now can't seem to get anymore.

Sooo, I am now looking for the best value online rental company. I probably only want around one or two movies per week, a mixture of DVD's and Blu-rays and if its not too expensive, games.

Can anyone recommend a good company? Ideally, I don't want to be spending more than around £15 a month. Also, any offers (e.g cashback, free gifts) would be brilliant!

Thanks

Yea, I have noticed that. I think Lovefilm own seven different online rental companies so that has sort of ******ed me up.

Probably should'nt say this but pfft, was talking to somebody at the Lovefilm distibution centre and he was telling me that they were losing no end of cash since the release of the PS3 and blu-ray as high value discs were going "missing" in the post http://209.85.12.231/html/emoticons/laugh.gif strangely there were loads of GTA4's getting "lost".
Think thats one of the reasons for the crackdown on trials, to save money.

Really? My boyfriend was with Lovefilm (free trial) and one of the discs that Lovefilm sent to him got lost in the post. They were really bad about it, pretty much said they thought he was lying and was trying to keep the disc. In the end he just got a Royal Mail letter come through asking him to confirm that he had not received it. Never heard anything since.

I am going to have a look at Blockbusters. If they are not part of Lovefilm I should be ok!

I sent need for speed for psp back to LoveFilm and it went missing, I then filled in a special form they sent me through the post asking what letterbox I posted it in - next I know the charge me £50 direct from my bank account TWO months after the item had gone missing, I ring up customer services in india and she asks me to fax a proof of postage to them, when I don't have a fax machine, she kept repeating herself about the fax so I sent the UK office a letter with a proof of postage (not for the game package i'd sent them, but it looked similar!!) and got my money back eventually

I did go back with them, as there are always good offers like the three months one etc, but when I did they charged me upfront for two months when they said it was free, also if you have any problems google the UK office, you will get reception, but they will transfer you to a better, more helpful UK call centre

my advice is go with blockbuster they were very good when i was with them, and their envelopes where plastic and not as shoddy as LoveFilms

I am a bit ******ed. No codes work for Lovefilm as I have already had free trials with them and I have apparently been registered with Blockbusters before (completely forgot that I did a free trial and then cancelled). Looks like I am going to have to pay Lovefilm straight away. Grumble!
