I tried some oranges from Asda that said on the label 'ideal for juicing' and quite frankly they were horrible.
What variety or oranges and apples do all you juicing people use?

Do you have a farmers market near you?

The fruit / veg is on a whole other level to the stuff you get in the supermarket.
Off topic and will sound daft but if you microwave an oranges for 10-15 seconds you will get more juice out of them. Weird but true.

Sweeter ones would be better, for apples depends on your taste but some are more 'tart' than others. Granny smiths should be ok though.
You didn't juice the whole orange did you, skin as well? I did that once like a plonker X)
I think if the orange/apple is overripe the better, more juicer and sweeter.
Thanks for the comments. I didn't do the skin as well lol
Tried some red apples (can't remember the name) and they were nice. To be honest it's been a bit of a let down. All the juicing i've done has been ok, nothing special. All the oranges i've tried have been a bit sweet too. I'm gonna have to work on my technique i think 8)
pink lady apples sweetest
