1.buy lamb. (must not contain mint!).
2.mince
3.make into burger shapes (must be burger shapes)
4.cook
5.enjoy time on other things instead of looking for the elusive burger

Mayo as a binder? I'm surprised that works due to the high oil content. In most instances you don't actually need any 'binder' in a burger recipe as long as there is enough fat. Once you shape them, put them in the fridge to chill and that should be sufficient.

The name of the farm does raise a smirk, I'm going there (again) beginning of September for a few nights in the Hayloft. I can highly recommend their burgers, Sausages and their accommodation.

They're sell branded tshirts for the brave..

Check them out on Facebook. And no, I don't work for them, nor am I on commission!

It's so easy to make them, and they are so much nicer than store bought ones.

We have homemade burgers about once a week, mmmmmm.

Perfect lamb burgers must try!!!!

500g lamb
One egg beaten
Tablespoon of coriander powder
Tablespoon cumin powder
Tablespoon garlic powder
Tablespoon onion powder
Cup of dry porridge oats
2 tablespoon of harissa paste
Salt and pepper

Combine everything together shape in patties and put in fridge minimum an hour overnight is even better then cook as you like. You can add or lessen spices to your preference. Phenomenal flavour try it guys lol

Think I might have to try all of these and do a youtube video.

Why you'd put porridge oats into a burger is baffling to me.

Agreed, but I think it's to bulk it out & make it go further. Jamie Oliver had a recipe when he added crackers to bulk the mince out oO

m and s do lovely lamb burgers , they are not over seasoned with mint imo

Honestly i thought it was crazy too until i tried it. It soaks up flavour and gives texture. Its also healthier than breadcrumbs. I thought it wouldnt work and be horrible etc but ive made and served to alot of people and everyone is surprised to be told it has porridge in it.

Its not so much to bulk it out but to bind it. Soaks up the juices etc. I agree it sounds very strange i was sceptical the first time but it works a treat

I love lamb, its a pain everywhere ruins it with mint, I too would like to find some frozen lamb burgers that are not soiled by nasty old mint.
