Best place to book a last minute holiday?

Hey..

The two of us have around £150 each and a week off.
we just want to get away for a week, somewhere cheap, cheerful and not nasty if that's at all possible.
looking for somewhere that isn't gonna be packed full of Yobs and little screaming kids.

not that bothered about catering ect.
can be a beach or a ski set up...

even a website that has some deals that aren't all "Ibiza/Benidorm/Majorca"

We just want somewhere quiet and relaxing...but not an old folks home :D

cheers.

Can you provide more info i.e. dates & your location for flying. Also, are you only interested in a 'resort' or would a city be of interest?

sorry...

Departing any date from May 8th
Arriving back in the UK no later than the 23rd May

7 days would be the max duration (puppies)

We are based in Manchester b ut could fly from most North/North West Airports, Manchester, Liverpool, Blackpool, ect.

A resort or city would be fine.
we're open to most things, usually we book holidays in advance and do 2 weeks in florida, a week in new york, 3 weeks in oz ect but this is more about getting away for a few days and just....escaping work.

thank you

www.capitalworldtravel.co.uk is an excellent one. I use it every year. Last year went to Rhodes for £220 for a fortnight. Also got a holiday to New York for Christmas the other year for £350 for 5 days!

Brilliant service too.

www.capitalworldtravel.co.uk - grrr, it's one of "those" sites

BARGAIN PRICE """""

then it adds suppliments, tax, extra luggage allowance, fuel tax, person tax, booking fee, thinking of going abroad tax

I went from £95pp for a week in Orlando to £495pp for a week in Orlando
I never expected it to be £95, but last time we went to orlando we went for £600pp for 2 weeks and that included transfers and extras.

I have used Teletext Holidays (Google it!) many times in the past for last minute holidays and have had excellent service & value for money on each trip, so it may be worth a look

(ie last time I booked, I got a week in Altinkum (Turkey), self-catering for £175.00 for 2 people in a 6-bed villa!)

Happy hunting! :)
