Hi there, could anyone show me some of the best PC's I could get for 500 quid? I don't need a monitor included as I have one already, but I would like a fast processor and a good graphics card if possible.

Or would I be better just trying to build my own (havent done it before), if yes where abouts is the best place to get my parts?

Thanks

Check out http://www.cyberpowersystem.co.uk/ i got my pc from here and it was costing me the same to build it so its worth checking out. Make sure you do a configurator. However the other day some guy listed a budget gaming pc which had a pretty good spec but i cant find it now.

Cheers for the site mate! I built this pc, could you tell me if it looks good for the price? Keep in mind I want this pc to be able to play the newest games out and run dreamcast emulator and PS2 emulator aswell.

Build your own - it's really easy.

From neogaf: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=366177

UK GAF'S ULTIMATE £400 GAMING RIG.

Just like the rig for US posters, I've put together a config that uses the absolute best "bang for buck" components whilst sticking to a strict £400 budget. The basic components are similar but I've used parts that are better priced at Ebuyer in order in come in on budget.

[Motherboard (ASUS M4A78 770)]: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/167128 (£55.86)
[CPU (Phenom ii X2 550)]: http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/s...html?AMD-X2550 (£79.99)
[RAM (OCZ Titanium 4GB DDR2 800)]: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/154644 (£34.99)
[GPU (XFX HD 4870 512MB)]:http://www.ebuyer.com/product/155497 (£99.99)
[DVD (22X Samsung DVDRW)]: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/145450(£15.56)
[Case/PSU (Coolermaster Centurion 5 and Coolermaster eXtreme Power Plus 550w PSU)]: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/141707 (£74.79)
[HDD (WD CAVIAR BLACK 640GB)]: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/150247(£51.79)

Total cost = £412.97 delivered

Recommended upgrades for 1080p gaming

[GPU (XFX 4890 1GB)]: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/167969(£140.73)

Total cost of 1080p gaming rig = £453.70
