I dont understand the difference but basically I need a disc and key code for either windows xp home or vista so that I can completely reformat my pc.. apparently if you already have an operating system you have to purchase a different disc or somethin?? bit clueless as you may have already guessed! could someone point me in the direction of which disc I need? thankyou x

You could always download the windows 7 rc and use that until you get one sorted. It gives you until april 2010:thumbsup:

If you don't have a disk & looking to get one, do as jtx suggests. Then if you like it, pre-ordering Win7 HP for £45 asap - while the offer's still on. Still available at a good price at the following, but can run out at any time:

Currys
Dixons
eBuyer
Micro Anvika
PC World
Staples
Tesco or http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.206-3928.aspx
