I'd recommend dabs.com and ebuyer.co.uk too - but expect to make multiple orders across different sites to get the best price :)

one more thing: I'm thinking about buying either Athlon II or Phenom II with motherboard and memory. I want to spend as little as possible (ideally under 250 quid) and i'm not a big gamer so don't need powerfull gaming machine. I want a good PC that wil last for few years and let me play games like Titan Quest. I have ATX case with with 400W Fortron power supply so would like to keep it. What would you suggest to buy? Athlon II or Phenom? Which motherboard? Are bundles worth considering?

Done the same exercise just before Xmas, look at aftersale service ! I've had problems with couple of bits and got poor service from overclockers and u wait up to 8 days for a reply from dabs, Internet only! Wouldn't use again. Ebuyer was excellent and eclipse, they'll build it for you as well. Happy computing !

Either an Athlon II X4 or Phenom II X4 would be fine. If you want to play games like Titan quest and the upcoming diablo 3 I'd make sure you also have a reasonable graphics card.
