Best Tariff to get Nokia N95?

Hi All,

My contract is coming to an end and I am up for getting the Nokia N95

I use about 500ish anytime any network minutes and about 300ish text messages a month!

I anticipate using the gps on the phone so could do with a good offer on the subscription to that as well?

On provisional enquiries orange seem pretty good, the phone costs £90, but if you hand in an old phone you get £100 cashback, and the starter tariff is £35 a month. You also get free broadband and landline calls, does anyone know if I still have to pay BT line rental with that?

Also would only like a 12 month contract and I am currently on t-mobile!

I am also interested in the phone and a similar tariff. Has anyone found anything good yet?

Sorry not that good on mobile tariff's need to start looking though as time to change my phone. I wouldn't go near Orange for broadband though, my friend has had terrible problems and they came out as the worst provider in a survey by Watchdog.

This sounds like a very good deal, i didn't know you could get £100 cashback if you hand in an old phone. did you go to an orange shop for the deal? and most importantly..is it a 12 or 18 month contract?

I went to an orange shop, I believe the deal is available on the 12 or 18 month contract!

The free broadband is available only on the 18 month contract, but horror stories are plentiful with their BB, but if you add another £5 a month to the tariff you get free landline to landline calls anytime in the UK and virtually worldwide! But you have to pay BT the basic line rental which is 10.75!

A little helping hand is that if you are a member of largish company/government organisation you can ask if they give a discount, I am a fireman and got 10% off my monthly bill and I also got a free bluetooth headset!

To be truthful I have both and I would rather have the N95 anyday, the features are absolutely amazing!

What do you get for £20 a month

Voda are very soon, going to start offering the N95 as a consumer champion device, which means that connection staff can almost give the damn thing away to get a new connection or existing contract retention. It's not in the public arena yet but keep your eyes peeled.

My contract was up for renewal last week and i was going to get the N95, but iv heard nothing but trouble from it,

I have friends who work in different mobile phone shops and theyve all had problems, bad firmware, and no signs of nokia fixing it yet.

Anyone else heard anything?

Python, all new phones have software problems and the industry know that. You can always check the latest firmware via the Nokia website and in the first 12 months get a free update at any Nokia service centre. I work in the industry and I would suggest you always take poor feedback - especially on a Nokia - with a pinch of salt.

I've had an N95 for 3 months now and it's the best phone you will get hold of right now.

New N95 firmware due out any day now apparently, the N95 i recieved off 02 is a brilliant phone, yes I have had a few lock ups, but for what is packed into this phone I can deal with it, Hopefully the new firmware will sort them out.

The deal I was satisfied with was an N95 on 02 fo 19.99 , 12 month, contract £40 month 500 texts , 500 mins :) which works for me , might not for everyone else

On the Orange website, it lists £100 credit for all new 18-month contracts on £25 per month & above *terms apply

Yet nowhere on the site does it actually seem to mention what these terms are, does anyone know ?

Also, selected an appopriate tariff & phone, and went to the Checkout where I entered the 100CREDIT code as it suggested ... and it did absolutely nothing, no indication of whether the code was accepted or not.

Any advice appreciated!
