I'm currently thinking of modding my wii - unfortunately it has the D2C chipset. Any ideas which modchip is best? Also where's the best place to get it fitted/ buy a solderless version?
Rep for all help!

Probably the D2Pro or Wasabi.
Theres not really all that much difference from what I hear.

I think the D2Pro may be a bit more reliable at the moment, but it'll need the D2Programmer (JTAG) if you ever need/want to update.
Wasabi is updatable by DVD.

Personally, Ive just recently got a solderless D2CKey & Wii-Clip combo from techsick (Also available at Ozmodchips). Had a couple of teething problems getting it fitted, but now its working perfectly, I just had to open the wii, clip it on and close it back up. The D2CKey isnt updatable (Yet, it may be possible using the aforementioned D2Programmer), but it's played everything Ive thrown at it thus far, including SSBB

Hope that helps.

Cheers alanchiz. I've taken the plunge with 360upgrades.co.uk. Spoke to the guy on the phone - was very helpful indeed! Opted for a Wasabi Chip because of the upgrading by DVD rather than a JTAG! Apparently Argon Chips are going to get wasabi firmware too soon. I'll let everyone know how it goes when I get my wii back in a couple of days (hopefully!)
