Best zip case for 3ds XL?

Decided I am going to open my Zelda 3ds Xl but was wondering what is the best case for the XL? I want something similar to my zip case for my current DS the first model. A zelda case would be brilliant but cheapest so far I found was £74 and it is a handmade custom leather case.

That would be great, I want one that has a zip which is padded on inside and not plastic on outside.

Does it protect from light bumps and knocks? Obviously I will be careful but want to have a case that offers protection as well as looks good. Also when did you order yours just wondering how accurate the 1 to two month dispatch estimate is

Its rather hard with a velvet like inner lining, a bit of elastic holds it shut wrapping round the underside, the sides are just eslastic flexible cloth but the front/back is wider then the 3ds so it should be pretect it at the sides, because its recessed.

it was the cheapest at the time, I got the red one, it looks nice with the gold 3ds, I can't remember how long it took only that it turned up faster then expected within a week or two.

Doesn't scratch it in anyway or slip out? Don't want my limited edition 3ds to be damaged in anyway.

Thanks a lot but think I would prefer one with a zip or something similar, just don't trust the clip. The Pokemon one is quite kool, what is the material like on the inside and outside?

seems alright so far, I've got all the zelda editions bar the DS lite one, if anything its playing them that causes damage, I had to stop using my SP which is similar gold finish with triforce, because the gold was rubbing off round the D-pad.

Well If it comes to it I will put a hard case on it, this is my first new ds since the original so I will keep it for a long time so doesn't matter if it gets worn with use too much. Also heres you ds your missing for £38 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nintendo-DS-Lite-Zelda-Special-Edition-/231262204950?pt=UK_VideoGames_VideoGameConsoles_VideoGameConsoles&hash=item35d84d3416

Have a good check of the zip ones you want to make sure there's a buffer between the zip and the machine so it doesn't rub on the inside of the zip and pay attention to any zipped internal compartments

Thanks but I wouldn't trust one without the box, you can buy zelda cases for ds lite that are a complete copy of the official machine for under a tenner and then fit them to any old coloured one.

if by hard case you mean one of those skin things that go round them made out of rubberised stuff, don't use those on anything ever, dirt gets trapped underneath then rubs with use and causes scratches, you should see my poor Creative Zen Vision M 60gig I wish I'd never put a so called protective skin case on it.

What I really want is a case like my old ds has. It has a soft interior with a cover inside attached via velcro which you can move out when the ds is not in the case, behind this games are stored. The outside is made of a sturdy material which is shockproof. Think my parents imported it from Japan at the time. Game storage is not a requirement but would be nice

Most cases in general of that type have a flap that goes over the console and on the other side of the flap is slots for games and the lid of the case has a fishnet compartment in, I've got things like that for my psp, GBAs etc.

Have a good look at Amazon, check the pictures out well, or DX.com, remember not to search for XL on DX.com, they don't call it that there, its LL.

Looks like what i'm after, doesn't cause any damage to 3ds in anyway? Shock resistant?
