I think you might be best to go in to a shop,

Front suspension is just extra weight to carry about - it also changes the effort you take into moving forward - partly into a bouncing up and down movement.

Also at the price you are looking at the suspension will be pretty heavy and not decent quality.

Do you really need suspension, or did you just like the idea of it?

The bike you linked to looks quite a lot of bike for the money - but there is very little spec.

Also - the best bike for 90% of people new or returning to cycling is a hybrid - as it can go offroad and cycle quickly about town too.

Mountain bike tyres and suspension make the slow and noisy on normal roads, and have gears that don't really offer believable ratios for commuting style cycling.

Thanks for the info :)but I have rode cheap suspension bikes in the past and they aren't that bad and i wouldn't be riding that much either, they also look better

If you try a bike with no suspension, slicks and the tyres at high pressure - the speed it can go at without much effort is impressive.

Also - many slick style tyres are under a tenner a time although if you put them on you can forget forest paths, grass, or compressed earth tracks when wet.
