Try the travelodge at Blackpool Central - son's just come back and says it was perfect for town - and his room overlooked the seafront. They often have decent deals on. Some of his mates stayed at Blackpool backpackers b&b - cheap rooms and nice enough - tho they did say it was a bit cold there !

Live just round corner and there are loads of cheap hotels (wouldnt call them hotels, more like a box with argos catalogue to sleep on) Do you mind where you stay, type of establishment or do you just want cheap.

MOther In Law had hotel here so know lots of owners

Good luck, maybe you fancy short life. Wouldnt stay if Norbreck offered me cash to stay. The stories you read about this place and 2 huge viral oubreaks lately are nothing to the real truth that wasnt published.

Depending what you want from your stay, The Cliffs or Hacketts both on Queens Prom, the posher part of blackpool. Very good rates and both excellent. Or if you prefer more of a family run, private owned smaller hotel, some firends of family own South Lea Hotel on Queens Prom facing Sea Front next to Savoy, very very nice palce as just spent fortune on refurbishment and very nice couple
