Just cancelled my RAC cos it jumped up £40 and we had no claims.

What are the best deals at the mo, please?

I'm looking for good UK cover. I was looking at Autonational Rescue cos they offer 15 months for the two of us for £99. Is there any better? Really want home start etc

Even with quidco?

I think RAC is the best on quidco at £40, and the service I have had is great too. Far better than Green Flag.

Brittania Rescue are good and cheap in comparison to the big guns!

Check out quidco and topcashback for cashback - could make a real difference.
AA have been very good for me and my family - had 2 call outs in last 3 years - and I found it useful that they cover the person, not the car. So even if I'm in my friend's car I'm covered and if you have more than one car it could be cost effective.

Thanks for these guys, but not wanting to go back to RAC and need full UK cover (ie not just away from home). Also would't go back to AA cos I had a lot of hassle with them before. I cancelled their policy after a year (when it jumped up and we had no claims) and they took the money anyway, even with over a months notice. It then took 3 or 4 months to get the money back, so once bitten twice shy as they say lol :D

Yes, definitely check your bank, Lloyds TSB give AA free on my account ( no hassles on refunds if it's free!)

I had them out 4 times over a 12 month period and they were there within 30 minutes each time and provided excellent service.
