Only recently developed a problem with breaking in of new football boots and shoes. Taking bloody ages. Any tips on stuff that's worked for you would be helpful

If the boots are leather or similar then the old fashioned ways are wet newspaper stuffed inside or the military way get them wet threw and go running in them (yes blisters will appear but the skin will harden and the boots will settle quicker)

Dubbin is a good waterproofer and to maintain softness but you still need to break them in

Drive over them many times! This is what my old colleague did breaking in his compulsory Doc Marten shoes for work!
