Hi,
I'm looking to buy a camera from Currys/PC World and would like some recommendations please.
I know nothing about cameras and its for someone who wants to advance from the normal point and shoot basic type cameras. I guess the natural progression would be to go for a bridge camera but other than that i'm unsure what i should be looking for.
It must be available from Currys/PC World as i need to use a voucher and my max budget is £300
Heres a link to the bridge cameras at currys if anyone gets a chance to have a look at them :)

Thanks all :)

Panasonic I like, took one around Peru did everything well and nice a light.

But I would go second hand with a bridge, but even better for £300 you could get a Canon G series maybe 7 or 11

You could buy a DSLR and use it in automatic and also experiment.
That's what I did and like yourself I was a total novice.
I had a canon but would buy a Nikon if I got another. I sold mine as I didn't use it and bought a Nikon bridge camera.
