I am wanting to get into Bruc Campbells old movies as I have heard great things about them, and was wondering where to start? Also I have seen several versions of the Evil Dead but am not too sure which will be the best for quality etc. If anyone could help me out that would be great. Thank you

They are just under a fiver at play.com and that was the first place I checked.

Evil Dead & Evil Dead 2 are pretty much the same film,Sam Raimi got a bigger budget so they sort of remade the first one,so just get the second and third films,if you like the second you could always buy the first and see how different it is

True, although the first was made as a 'Horror' it was that outrageous in terms of gunge gore and dissmemberment the second was made almost as a remake and to give it more cult status on the back of the first was heavily overtoned with comedy which makes it easier to swallow.

I mean come on the tree rape scene and Bruce's catchphrase "Groooovey" it rocks! Not to mention the hag in the cellar, I need to watch it again :thumbsup:
