The one connected to your router will supply the rest. I think you can add around 5 additional plugs to this particular unit.

I may be wrong.

Good kit tho. I have a set of two in the house and they are spot on

200mbit is too slow for powerline connection as you only get a fraction of the overall speed, expect approx 3.5/5MB per second on a good connection. This depends on your internet speed though so if you're under this then they could be fine for your usage.

They're bi-directional but are linked weirdly and you will need to read your instructions to connect them in the right order but I've successfully linked four Zyxel 600s together at reasonable speeds but bottle necked at 13MB per sec on the fastest link. My new house is crap and gives terrible speeds though but this is probably due to lack of double sockets in the home.

I'd not look at brands but the chipsets they use as they're shared across brands.

Still can use in extension lead, even though they don't recommend, I use all my home plugs in ours, ( 3 in different rooms )with no difference to speed.
#8
Need to note that surge protected mains extensions will negatively effect powerline adapter performance.
#9
These create an ad-hoc network utilising your electrical cabling and power so you need a mimimum of two but can certainly increase the adapters but depending on vendor/implementation throughput can degrade. Overlooked point is that all adapters need to be on the same ring main, probably not a big issue for most but!
