Please advise?

Have not heard good thing about talk talk to be honest considered moving to them but got lured by deal with sky, and despite their bad reviews, have always had excellent service :) maybe you'll get better advice but my instincts say don't :)

I've been with talk talk for about 6 months and never had a problem with the phone or broadband.
#8
Exactly what services do you have with BT ?

We were with talk talk, but they treated us terribly on a house move. we had half our 18 months contract left, and we would have been happy to see out the rest of the time. We had to start a new contract, otherwise we had to pay a termination fee, plus an uninstall fee at the old address, and pay off the old contract.

If you contact BT and tell them you are moving, you will very likely get a much better offer from them. This has happened to me every time. Well worth a call to see what they offer, just don't let them dazzle you with random products. Stick to what you have, if that suits you and insist you are leaving because of cost. If they make you a better offer, all to the good. I am sure they will. 0800 800150

TalkTalk broadband was fine till i went to Fibre. Then it was AWFULL!! No matter what they offered me was too much. BT Infinity however, has been great.

Line rental, any time calls , by 1571, caller display, by sport and I'm paying £60 pm. They said they can go down to £44.
Talktalk are offering for £33 all that plus extras.

Very tempting but don't wanna be unhappy..
#13
Don't change, but put in a cancellation request anyway and use the TT prices to bargain with them. You have a month until it all disconnects, and before then BT will call up and try to keep you. Pretend you're considering TT and negotiate a decent discount from BT.

Crikey! Didn't realise BT was so expensive.

I get all Sky TV, Line Rental, Anytime Calls, Caller Display, Unlimited Broadband for £31.95 p/m.

I know its not what you were after, but use as a comparison for what you are about to sign up to.

Talk talk are a terrible company . But they use BT's signal and the same network , so if you don't get too many problems with bt then not much should change . They are horrible to deal with tho if you do get problems .

I tried that, and the guy at BT said you're welcome to leave and try TT, most people who do come back to us, so went with sky instead :p I pay £23/ month, for call anytime mobile & landline + unlimited broadband + line rental, don't have TV though, cheapest so far

It's not that they're expensive - you just got some lucky deal. That's crazy cheap considering line rental alone is £18.99.

Infinity 2
Weekend calls only
Caller display
£40.20 pm
Not the best deal but happy with the service
Started with BT.
Went to sky , rubbish speeds on broadband
Went back to BT
Offered a cracking deal with talktalk so moved to them after my BT contract ended
I paid to get out the contract due to a shocking service , slowest speeds , I thought I was back on dial up
Went back to BT
You get what you pay for
I see people on here with Amazing sky deals with broadband package but for me it was slow all the time
Yeah I know they use the same line
My BT may not be cheap but it's fast and reliable

No, they won't call, any advisor wouldn't be able to offer any deals either, submitting a cancellation request would create an open order to cease, until that was cancelled or closed, no further changes could be made.

if ur out of contract wait for a few weeksor months there's bound to be some deal coming out soon for even less than 33 quid. I have been doing the rounds start off on vm then sky and know talk talk other family members have had ee aswell. all the rest have been good just go down once or 2 in 12 months but talk talk is taking the mickey goes down every other week and for days not a few hours
