How did you buy this service? Were you cold called? Did you buy from an internet web page? Did you go into a BT shop? Were you made aware of the full terms and conditions? Did you read and understand them? Was a specific "cooling off" period mentioned? What did it say?

Their T&C's say that line rental is none refundable (I had an issue with them in the past), but I'm not sure where you stand if you're still in the first 14days??

Has your service been activated?

14 day cooling off period is from day after order is placed and not when installed/activated.

If within 14 days of order you will be refunded in full.

If 14 days have passed since ordering you will need to pay cancelation fee.

If you are having problems with your service or does not match what was advertised, you need to give BT chance to rectify. If they are unable to provide service advertised you are entitled to leave contract free of charge.

Thats a good deal, you should have no problem getting full refund if within 14 days.
Put it in writing (letter or email) asap then follow up with a phone call.
