Budget UPS system needed

Hi,

I'm after a budget UPS system - probably around the £50 mark - which would be needed for 2 PC's.

Any suggestions please of suitable brands - I've checked and ended up with a plethora of types, with different power outputs and inputs.

TIA.

David

Hi DCLane

ebuyer do one here:

http://www.ebuyer.com/product/130470

For £23.99. It's a mere 500VA unit, so wouldn't two machines running for ahuge amount of time.

However, you could buy 2 of these units for let than your £50 limit.

If you want something larger, you could try this for £41.99:

The problem with these is they don't seem to have any serial or USB cables to notify your PC about power-cuts, which mean they can't automatically power down gracefully.

This here:

At £48 is lower capacity again, but appears to have automatic shut-off capability.

At any rate, have a browse around ebuyer, you won't get much cheaper elsewhere.
