Could anyone recommend a shop in London or online please?

Thanks in advance.

Find a local independent place. They often have a clearance area where you may get a bargain.

Ebay sellers have with everything you need in a kit at cheaper then the shop prices.

If you are having a tradesman in to do the work they may offer you their trade discount, and Topps offer trade.

We just used brooketiles in hull although it's local they use a carrier to deliver so shouldn't be a problem. Got a sample from http://www.stonesuperstore.co.uk who seemed cheap but didn't have the style we wanted

personally I would never buy tiles online. its just one of those things I would rather see before buying.

try them & also look for local businesses.

Johnson's factory warehouse in Stoke are good prices. I wouldn't go to DIY places if you want a decent tile they tend to skip on the glaze finish so you will find won't ware well and the edge might even be translusent. I've found some good bulk buys on eBay.

Wickes in store usually have some nice clearance ones for around £8sqm

OP, I once selected tiles from topps tiles but they would take three weeks to come into stock. Somehow found out the supplier and ordered direct at a fraction of the cost. They were called the 'hoxton' tile in colour 'plata' and were supplied by a firm in Brum by the name of 'Capitol Tiles'. Even with next day delivery they were so so much cheaper. Maybe your tiles are also supplied by them? Give em a call (Google number)

Topps Tiles are horrendously overpriced. Try ceramic tile distribution, the will have one vaguely local.

Also your tiler should be supplying the grout/adhesive.

You can ask for samples first, I have many times.

Thanks everyone for all your help.

A property developer suggested a company called Ceramic Distribution Tiles (CDT), I popped in there and got three rooms worth of tiles with all the grout and finish for £1250. I'm not even trade either! The tiles are brilliant looking too.

Negative: Their in-store selection isn't as varied as Topps.
Positive: The cost and the guy who serviced me was amazing!
