My husband is due home next week and my panasonic 42" Viera from Currys has arrived and is sitting still boxed till he gets home as I need to get wall bracket etc for it, and have noone to help me lift it and set it up even if they had been ordered and arrived by now.
Anyway can anyone offer advice as to anything else I might need to buy for it\our setup. Here are things off the top of my head that I know we have:
The Panasonic 42" Viera
Pioneer Home cinema (Think thats what its called - a DVD playerwith a main speaker that all the other speakers connect into). Found a label on the pioneer stating AAL733 os something similar but it is a few years old.
Video Sender and receivers.
I would guess I would need HDMI Cables but not sure what kinds or lengths? Am I better to get measurements or just play safe and buy 3m ones? Also, would the Video sender\Receiver work with this to minimise cabling getting put through wall where Viera will be mounted. Also have seen a few people mentioning an AV? Are they a piece of kit recommended to splurge on if you have bought a Viera? Any recommendations in different price brackets if they are a good buy for this system?
I have 2 small kids so want to make this setup as child proof as possible! Plus husband is usually only home for between 24 and 72 hours so we have a small window to get this set up so would like to get everything here to save having to wait for any modifications till next time he is home which could be weeks away!
Let m eknow what info anyone requires and I will try my best to find it - i.e. looking at connector types on current system etc
Thanks so much for any assistance and links to kit available to purchase!
