hi can anybody advise me if this camera is a good/best option please:

Casio Exilim EX-Z1080 10.1mp 3x Optical Zoom Digital Camera Silver

here it is: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/135586

is that a good price? i only wanted to spend around £100 but i was advised that this is a camera well worth its price, i wanted it to shoot short movies aswell as pictures (i know il have to get a memory card, but they are cheap rite now)

so is this what im looking for then? to take decent quality movies and photo's?

thanks

based on the reviews from : http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/read...=casio_exz1080

it seems like a brilliant camera and has great reviews!!

so basically im looking at around £115-£120, is that the cheapest then?

anybody know a good/replutable place to buy memory cards from?

just a word of caution:
I had a casio ex-z75 which developed "lens error". Sent back to casio via argos and they (casio) suggested user fault allowing moisture in and would not fix it. No refund from argos either btw. (hadn't been wet btw but argos stand behind casio opinion & won't refund)
I'm not saying the ex z1080 may suffer from the same fault, but it's worth googling for lens error problem imo.

but you cant beat peoples reviews who actually own the particular model...
