Can a parcel be retrieved after sending?

So I am told by Orange I am due to receive a parcel today but sadly not received an update regarding a time slot. Now re checking the website leads to a "failed to find consignment number information" or similar error message, which was working last night.

Is it possible for say a company to later say cancel a parcel after sending or is that not possible? The currier is UKMAIL.

Thanks.

It depends how far down their chain your package has got.

Typically a package will go to the main hub before being directed to a regional one and then be sent out for delivery with a courier.

It may be worth contacting UKMAIL, but I would imagine it would be easier for them to deliver and then you return it (or just refuse to sign for it) if you dont want it.

Yeah, they can with UKMail if they wish, they phone the driver. I have several deliveries a week from them and from experience I have requested this (contacted the store to ask for the item to be returned) previously.

Best get on the phone to UKMail and see what their system says, they are helpful.

An update. It must have just been an odd malfunction or something. After re-checking later, it is now due for delivery. The funny/annoying thing is, I don't even know what this parcel is X)

As of now, it's out for delivery but It has gone past the delivery time.

UK mail delivery time slots are not accurate what so ever, ignore them! X)

I received a projector once, didn't know who sent it though lol waited a few months and sold it. Defaintely didn't order one or pay for it but all the details on the package were correct :|
