Can anyone help me find a Laptop?

Ok here is the deal

Ive had desktops for as long as i can remember and now with less and less space available im looking to get a laptop. Im thinking my current PC is worth about £120 for the base unit and about £120-130 for the monitor (24" widescreen Samsung) And am willing to throw about a max of £200 on top. So my budget for a laptop is around the £400 mark

I dont play games, so high end 3D isnt needed (i have a media player thingy downstairs. I just need something which is on a par really with my current set up, but on a laptop.

My current PC specs are E2160 Dual Core CPU, 2GB Ram, 250GB Hard Drive, 7600GT Graphics card, DVD Writer etc. This is more than enough for my needs, i just wanted to know whether i was flogging a dead horse being able to find something reasonable on a £400 budget. Can anyone help?

Hey acer do good spec'd laptops at cheap prices.. check it out:http://www.acerdirect.co.uk/desktop_replacements/page.asp

Do you need help with choosing specs?

yeah i might well do. I have had a look myself and i have seen this so far that to my untrained eye looks pretty good and is in my price range. I just dont really get the hierachy of all the CPUs on laptops etc, i can understand it with Desktops!

thats actually a pretty good deal to be honest. For them specs I would say its worth it. Trust me it takes me ages to choose a laptop (for gaming). I ended up importing from America, I finally bought a laptop a 2000 pound worth laptop for 970 pounds. I would say that laptop you showed me is worth it. But take your time searching.

yeah i thought it looked ok. Like i said i never play games on my desktop, only a few emulators form yesteryear so thought this might be ok?

if want detail benchmarks of any laptop cpu's go here http://www.notebookcheck.net/Mobile-Processors-Benchmarklist.2436.0.html

And your cpu comes under the 52nd position, I was surprised
