Hi

My wife has quite wide feet (only size 6 length), but always has trouble finding decent leather shoes that fit without having to go up two size and then they are too long. Clarks used to be the go to, but now their range is not quite a good as its used to be and not as varied but also not as wide either as they used to be. Mark's range is getting worse for choice too. I've looked online but when you get to a site that specialises in wide fits its all PU stuff and looks like granny wear as she's only 32.

Any help is appreciated please and thanks in advance. Im sure we cant be the only people that are looking for a wider fit and in leather.

I find that many in Clarks are too narrow even to try on. They do a wider E fit in some boots. I find the ones with a pair of lace ups with a tongue fit much better than the ones with side zips, and the elasticated side ones I don't even bother with anymore. Found these recently in Clarks which come in different colours (I bought the tan suede). The same ones can be found on eBay
