Can I Haggle At A T Mobile Store

I've been looking at deals on the T-Mobile Site, and they seem ok, but they do not beat deals that I have seen from, for example, cash back sites like dialaphone, etc. However, let's just say my only route is through T-Mobile directly, do people haggle for better deals from these stores? I want to get a good deal on the HTC Desire HD, maybe the £30 a month for 24 months, however for that deal, I have to pay £90 for the handset. Do you think realistically, I can get a better deal than this?

Personally I have no experience of haggling at a mobile phone shop. However I love to haggle and try to avoid paying full price wherever possible. My basic rule is if you don't ask you won't get, everything is worth a try. Also if you don't get any joy at the first branch try another, sometimes things are up to the manager to decide. Good Luck
you wont be able to hangle in store by past experience! your best beat is to do over the phone and play one network against another
Try to phone them 0800 956 2208.
Are you already with them?
Stores don't have the margins they need the commission to pay for the shop, telesales are better
Maybe look at this?

No redemption, £20pm, £30 for the phone, on tmobile 300 cross-network mins + 300 texts + Unlimited data but its 24 months

I'm not with tmobile currently

I need to go through t-mobile directly, can't use any cash back sites, etc.

its not cash back but whatever
well I rang t-mobile, managed to get the handset free on the £30pm contract when its £90 normally. However when I gave the details, the system is supposed to come back with security questions, it didn't so they couldn't carry on with the transaction :(

In my experience, have a chat with the sales person, its good if you have something in common to banter about, try and get their name and tell them that you will tell your friends/family to come to them for contracts. If you can, deal with the manager and maybe they can pull a few strings.

I just upgraded my phone to the Blackberry Torch, to get the phone for free I would have had to get the £35 a month contract which I didn't want, but with the £30 contract I would have had to pay £100. Luckily I got to trade my sister's old curve in so I didn't have to pay extra for the phone, plus signed up for the phone insurance, which I can cancel after 3 months. I had the same sales person when I opened the contract 18 months ago so I remebered to go to him when my upgrade was due. Good luck!
