You still need the superhub. What you can do is put it into modem-mode and plug in a router of your choice, this will then take care of the lan/wifi and port forwarding etc...

Found the SuperHubs to be ok myself but as above, you can set it to modem mode and add another router.

Which VM superhub are you using and where is it located in the house?
I found that for me downstairs is the best as confirmed by a VM engineer .
Go back to VM ask them to check out your router. It may require several calls and or visit but best to get this working rather than investing in a new router.
