Can you pay for Google app in local currency?

Hi all, hope you're enjoying the Christmas season.

i'm currently abroad staying with family and noticed that an app I'm after (CoPilot Premium Europe sat nav) is 20% cheaper in the local currency when checking on my computer.

However, I'd like to buy it but it appears when I try to buy using my phone via Google Playstore, it reverts to £'s and is a lot more. Is there any way I can buy the app, say using my computer, then install it on my phone in local currency?

Thanks in advance.

may be you could change the phone settings location..to your current location..
I'm guessing your phone's location is still UK,,may be that's why!

You will still get charged a currency exchange charge if you pay in local currency, depending on your banks T&C's.

I have a Santander bank card for Brasil where I am (used to live and work here and wife is Brasilian) so that wouldn't be an issue re bank charges. I thought this would be straight forward but it really isn't and I'm not paying for it in £'s as it's nearly 25% more which doesn't make it worth it imo.

Brasil is the correct spelling but thanks for playing. OP, sign in to the same google account on the PC and pay for it. When you sign in to the app store on your phone it should say purchased.

Alternatively, change the phone/google account location/timezone to Brasil.
