Hi we are going on a Parkdean family week away in September and the park does not have wifi so I was thinking of getting a data sim to put in my Chromebook. I will only need it for a week so don't want a contract but I am not familiar with what is available. I only need data, not calls and texts etc.

Any advice would be welcomed

99p T-Mobile SIM off Ebay that comes pre-loaded with £5 credit.

Once the SIM is inserted, send a SMS to 441 with the text monthweb. This will give you 30days of Internet or 1GB, which ever comes first.
If your Chomebook can not send SMS (like my Nexus 7 3G tablet), you will have to put the SIM into a phone first and send the SMS from there. After a few seconds you should receive a SMS stating that you are low on credit. You can now put the SIM back into the Chromebook and use the Internet.

You may be able to create a hot spot using your mobile phone depending on your contract or your partners contract.
