I have three Apple trees with so much fruit on, I am also saving for a house and a wedding so am thinking why not sell the apples at a carboot.

Am I able to sell them in quantities at a car boot eg 12 for £1? I know I won't be able to sell them by weight as then it begins a trade issue having exact scales etc etc which I don't have.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

I didn't think you were allowed to sell food / drink at car boots but I might be wrong ... Could you not contact the car boot you're thinking of selling at ? Sounds a fab way to make extra cash , good luck .

I've tried but they haven't replied. I advertise them outside my house but I think that most people on my road have apples/pear trees as its a Victorian road and the gardens are big so there is no call for them

Have you thought about getting them juiced, pasturised and bottled ? Then either freeze or sell ! Cost around £1 bottle and sell for £3+ !

You're not allowed to sell cds or dvds at car boot sales but theres always plenty on sale. Just saying.

Awesome. Was it just on a normal stall not veggie stall?

I regularly go to car boots and there's always fruit and veg plus other food items. although if you're hoping to make some cash sell other things too not just the apples as I highly doubt you'll make much money with just an apple stall.

I don't see why you can't sell fresh apples. I would buy them ....:)

At my local car boot they sell all sorts of fruit and veg, even have a veg/plant stall.. You could also sell them from your front garden. eg a £1 a bag.
