Can someone point me in the direction of a deal as none seem to appear in my local paper ever

There are a number of forums where people sell secondhand bikes, a lot of them are pretty decent and so they expect a little more than you might be willing to pay for a run around, but there are also a fair number of sub £100 bikes there too.

i got a basic bike a few years ago from

do you work for the nhs? they have a bike to work scheme at the moment
