I would even consider second hand from a local source.

Thanks all

I bought my 50mm 1.8 secondhand from Jessops of all places for £50. Also try London Camera Exchange for a second hand copy. if you ask them to look out for one you may be surprised how quickly they turn up. This such a simple lens easy to check for damage / good copy. Most people get bored of the 50mm when they get new glass so plenty to be had secondhand.

The 85mm 1.8 is another story. You won't find one secondhand at all easy they are very desirable. Suggest you keep an eye on http://www.camerapricebuster.co.uk/ Cheapest at the moment is Jacobs and Amazon at £314.

Good to see someone going for primes

Mate also ordered a sigma lens from them, good delivery and no customs charges, happy days.
They even offer to pay customs for you in case you get charged, which has never happened to me yet.

I would not buy from Hong Kong personally, even if they pay all Duties etc. For the extra pounds, it is better to buy from UK (or even Europe), atleast if it is faulty it can be returned more easier.
