Don't know if you are interested but I was looking for a Canon Printer for my son for Xmas last night, as I was trawling around I noted that Canon have an outlet store on e-bay, mainly refurbed or ex-demonstration stock but they have a one year guarantee. Lots of different models.
Like I say it may not be what you are wanting, but might be worth a look if it suits.
Don't PC World price match Amazon and give you a 10% discount on that price?

If you find a lower price for the same product and offer, we'll reduce our price by 110% of the difference – even up to 7 days after purchase.

This applies to prices offered by retailers within 30 miles of your local PC World store and the UK websites* listed below. The competitor must have the item in stock and website* prices must include delivery. Single unit purchases only.

* Websites: items sold by, Argos, Asda, B&Q, Comet, Dabs, Dell, Evesham Technology, Game, Gamestation, Halfords, HMV, Jessops, John Lewis, Maplin, Misco, Play, Staples, Tesco, Toys r Us, Virgin, Woolworths

Canon Pixma IP4500 at PC World
Bought one from PC World on Monday evening.
I used the "Price Match" against the MISCO price of £64.61
They ended up charging me £57 total.
At the checkout the till has all the companies that they Price Match with.
MISCO is not one of them although it is listed on their web site.
Make sure you take.
The printout of "PRICE MATCH Plus 10%" page. Make sure the company is listed. Amazon is listed.
The printout of the deal you want to use.
The printout of the PC World price.

I had no problems getting the deal

Good Luck
