Hi, I make quite a few trips to southern spain each year and always seem to use a different company for car hire, I dont take much luggage so just something small is fine. Is anyone aware of a cheap reliable company or discounts that are available?

I always use they are the cheapest and most efficient as they search out the best deal for you. I have used them in Spain and Cyprus and they cannot be bettered for price. Another advantage is that you don't have to pay until you get there.
Hi I use when flying to Malaga or Granada. If going in the holidays wait until last to get your car. Booked a cheap small group B car (ka ect.) but the last two times got a free upgrade to a Megane and a 307.
Dont wait until the last minute to book a car for Malaga airport. I live here and when friends come out if they havnt booked in advance they have trouble getting a car. Best one at Malaga airport is Europcar. The always upgrade and they are the only ones who give you a tank of petrol and expect a full one back, not that the company charge you for how much they "estimate" you have used. You can book Europcar on line. Good luck
I can recommend Have used them a number of times and they are a lot cheaper than anywhere else

Just returned from Girona airport and we booked through 'Do you spain' for our car hire. We booked the cheapest catagory (it was only being used as a means of transfer) which should have been a 3 door but was upgraded to a 5 door fiesta which was a bonus. Cost was 36 euros for 2 days - the daily charge is obviously reduced if you hire for a longer period. The best thing abut them is there is no excess to pay on pick up (unlike with Hertz!) and everything but the tires and windscreen are fully insured, so the price you're quoted is all you pay unless you want the optional tyre/windscreen cover. Also, you only pay on collection of the car so no up front or cancelation costs. If you hire for 4 days or less you can request to return the car with a full tank and get a refund on the petrol charge. I've used economy car hire before and thought they were cheap but these guys beat their quote by nearly 10 euros.

I would reccomend them. Good luck
Thanks to you all for suggestions...I will check them out, rep added to you all!
